korean adoption

I didn't originally come to Korea to find my birth parents.  If I wanted to do that, I would have gone on an adoptee trip for two weeks.  I came to Korea to get some teaching experience and learn about Korean culture...and make money.

But I knew...searching for my birth mother was something I had to do while I was here.  So I took the big leap and with the help from one of my students, my social worker, faith, and lots of love and encouragement from family and friends...I started my birth family search.

Adoption and being an adoptee isn't something that is easily understandable to others so I'm really happy to share my experience with all of you : )
